A few of my favorite Lake Tahoe Wedding Locations

I love to photograph magical scenery. The magnificent mountains of Lake Tahoe and the massive clear blue lake are the perfect backdrop for dramatic wedding photography.
Every season offers unique beauty. Springtime blooms with wildflowers and new green leaves, fall bursts with brilliant color, winter delivers dramatic landscapes of blue and white snow-covered mountains and summertime, my favorite, is always spectacular, sunny blue sky, clear turquoise water and mountain views an occasional glistening spot of snow.
Lakeside Beach is one of my favorite locations, with a combination of the lovely lake view, a bit of green forest, yet close to town and easy to access. You can even ride in a romantic horse drawn carriage to or from your ceremony. The sandy beach is just a lovely spot for a wedding, pretty and private.
The charming chapel at Forest Suites Resort is perfect for weddings year round, rain or shine. A warm fire glows in the lobby fireplace, and you step outside to pretty forest and landscaped grounds, a great atmosphere for a celebration and beautiful for photos.
Just up the hill from the Heavenly area is Van Sickle Park, scenic forest, giant boulders and meandering trails, a perfect spot for romantic pictures.
There are, of course, lots of great locations for weddings and events in Lake Tahoe. It is a huge area with a lots of variety of amazing places to choose from. Couples have plenty of choices to make the romantic day they envision come true.
Stunning scenery is a big part of what makes a wedding venue desirable. Easy accessibility, convenient parking, and plenty of amenities are important, but equally important are the people who make your event run smoothly. Great wedding coordinators, helpful staff, a friendly Officiant and an efficient photographer will make your day special and perfect.
My favorite wedding locations have all of those special qualities, especially awesome people. My goal as a photographer is to make your important day even more perfect.
