I didn't create this wonderful title but it explains exactly the type of weddings I have been photographing, and loving for many years.

Micro weddings are a new trend, according to a recent report on Good Morning America. The truth is tiny, intimate weddings have been popular as destination weddings for a very long time.

Star-struck sweethearts have been running off to a tropical island or lovely location to elope for a very long time. A fair share bring along a few family members and friends to share their joyful event. I have been happily photographing these lovely little weddings for many years, in Hawaii, San Diego, Lake Tahoe and now, Apple Hill.
